Frank Sinatra - Ole Blue eyes

First appeared on a million selling disc with Tommy Dorsey & His Orchestra in 1942 : 'There are such things'

His first solo recording 'All or nothing at all' with Harry James Orchestra was actually made in 1939 but it took until 1943 for it to become a million seller. He followed up in 1944 with his recording of 'White Christmas'.Other million selling 78s came along in 1953, 55 and 57 with 'Young at heart', 'Love and marriage' and 'All the way' (backed with 'Chicago'. Of course there were many other hit recordings but for the great record buying public, those were the landmarks.
